BROWNIES BUST: A man strolling the streets at the Cornucopia Days festival offered to sell psychedelic mushrooms baked into chocolate brownies to two men about 9:30 p.m. Friday. The men were Kent police officers in plain clothes. When they arrested the man, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, he said he was just trying to make some money by selling people brownies for $20 each.
SUSPICIOUS FARE: At about 4:45 p.m. June 29, a cabbie showed up at the Issaquah Police Department. He explained that he picked up a fare in Seattle, but once she was in the cab, she began crying. She now appeared to be sleeping in the cab, and he didn't know what to do with her. An officer helped out the cabbie, and took an unspecified ``necessary action'' to remove the woman from the cab.
