KIRKLAND

DRUG BUST: A 13-year-old Kirkland boy was caught reportedly shoplifting three candy bars from the Market on Central the morning of Oct. 10, according to a 39-year-old Duvall man who witnessed the theft. When police investigated, they found the boy, listed as a runaway, also had marijuana and prescription medications. He was arrested.

REDMOND

DUI: At about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 6, police located and arrested a 50-year-old Redmond man in the 11600 block of Willows Road after a witness called police to report seeing him drinking beer while driving and crossing over the center line.

ASSAULT: At about 3:40 p.m. Oct. 6, a 33-year-old Redmond woman was arrested after her boyfriend said she assaulted him while they were parked in a vehicle in the 5000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. She is also being investigated for reckless driving.
