SHORTS SHOT: A woman told police she and her boyfriend were arguing while he was undressing for bed about 3 a.m. Sunday when he hit her in the head with his shorts. Officers sent to the apartment in the 400 block of Novak Lane to investigate the disturbance found no signs of injury. The man claimed he threw his shorts at the wall and accidentally hit the woman. She told police she was heading back to her own home. No action was taken.
