FRAUD: A man called Auburn police to report that a woman hitchhiker he had picked up early Monday morning and given a ride to a motel stole his wallet. He discovered the theft when he got home a few hours later. The incident took place in the 1100 block of Auburn Way South. He described the woman as being in her 20s and wearing a white hat and jacket.
