SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: A woman who lives at the Mission Ridget Apartments told police Wednesday that someone broke into her apartment and shortened her vertical blinds by cutting them.

THEFT: A patient at Auburn Regional Medical Center faces possible theft charges after he left the hospital without medical clearance while attached to a $2,000 monitor.

DOMESTIC VANDALISM: Police got a call from 19th Street Southeast at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 22, in which a parent was reporting a 19-year-old son out of control. At the house, they determined the son had punched holes in the wall and had an active arrest warrant from Medina for underage drinking. They found the son hiding behind a fence in the backyard and arrested him.
